Steve Martin and Martin Short are hitting the road before solving their next murder. The “Only Murders in the Building” duo will embark on a 27-city tour, titled “The Dukes of Funnytown,” during which the pair will perform a mishmash of music, sketches and comedy bits.

The jaunt officially kicks off Friday, Aug. 22 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, making stops in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Albany, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; and dozens more before wrapping up in Wallinford, Connecticut on Dec. 5.

Tickets are currently available on Stubhub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek and Ticketmaster, starting at $111.

“The Dukes of Funnytown” is just the latest in a long string of comedy projects the legendary duo have worked on together. In the 2010’s they teamed up for a live comedy/music show that evolved into a touring act, later filmed as the Netflix special “Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life (2018),” which was Emmy-nominated. They’ve also appeared in countless “Saturday Night Live” sketches together, in addition to iconic comedy films such as “Three Amigos!” (1986), “Father of the Bride” (1991) and “Maya & Marty” (

The tour comes ahead of the fifth season of “Only Murders in the Building,” a half-hour series that stars Short, Martin and Selena Gomez as a team of amateur investigators and true crime podcasters solving a string of suspicious murders in their New York apartment complex.

Buy tickets to Short and Martin’s “Dukes of Funnytown” on Stubhub.
