Grammy nominated record producer-songwriter Johnny Goldstein has joined HYBE Latin America‘s new untitled reality series aimed at forming a Latin all-male music group.

Goldstein — who has produced records for Coi Leray, David Guetta, Ozuna, Shakira, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin and more — will serve as a mentor on the production that brings together creatives from the United States, Korea and Europe with the focus of developing Latin talent. The show is currently filming at a school located in Mexico City, Mexico.

Goldstein has also had a hand in shaping the future of K-pop stars like J-Hope, TXT, Enhypen, Straykids and ILLIT. HYBE is also responsible for similar talent shows, including the reality competition show “The Debut: Dream Academy,” which paved the path for the Billboard 200-charting girl group Katseye.

Goldstein joins a list of mentors that also includes Kenny Ortega, Charm La’Donna, Robert J. Stevenson and Jaime Escallón (showrunner) and Lucas Jaramillo (production designer), who also serve as executive producers and co-creators of the format.

+ Sony Music Publishing Latin has announced the promotion of Monica Jordan to VP of creative A&R. Based out of Miami, Jordan will continue to report to Sony Music Publishing’s President and CEO, Latin America and U.S. Latin Jorge Mejia.

During her time at the company, Jordan has signed and worked closely with many of today’s top hitmakers including Fuerza Regida frontman Jesús “JOP” Ortiz Paz, Myke Towers, Anitta and Edén Muñoz. She also works alongside recent SMP signee Street Mob Records, which boasts a roster of over 25 talented songwriters, artists and producers including Calle 24, Chino Pacas, Clave Especial and Miguel Armenta.

Jordan said, “I am thrilled to step into this new role. This opportunity is made possible by the incredible songwriters I’ve had the privilege to work alongside who inspire me every day, as well as the unwavering support of my family. I am grateful for Jorge Mejia’s trust and invaluable encouragement, and I am excited to collaborate further with our superstar team here at Sony Music Publishing.”

Mejia added: “Monica has an impeccable ear for talent and for identifying what’s next. She also has great drive and determination when it comes to her signings. It has been most rewarding to see her development as an executive, and I am excited to see what’s ahead for her as she takes on this new role.”

Monica Jordan first joined the company in 2010 as A&R Manager, and most recently served as director, creative A&R.

+ Suno, a leading music technology company, has hired Paul Sinclair as chief music officer. The former GM and executive VP of Atlantic Records, Sinclair has been advising Suno for a few months now, and brings more than two decades of experience in artist development and emerging digital technologies to the new position.

In his new role, Sinclair will guide how Suno’s AI-powered tools are integrated into the process of songmaking, helping to empower creators of all skill-levels to make music, expand creative expression and unlock new experiences between artists and fans.
