Hezbollah on Wednesday condemned the Lebanese government’s decision to task the army with drafting a plan to restrict weapons to official state forces by year’s end, calling it a “grave sin” that serves Israeli interests. Hezbollah accused Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s government of bowing to American demands and vowed to disregard the move.
