    The Friday, July 4 MLB schedule is loaded with 15 games and several rivalry series getting underway. All 30 MLB teams scheduled to play on the national holiday. One of the most notable MLB matchups today is Dodgers vs. Astros at 9:10 p.m. ET in an inter-league matchup between two of the top World Series contenders in MLB. Los Angeles is listed as a -181 favorite (risk $181 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Astros vs. Dodgers odds. The SportsLine Projection Model is predicting a solid performance from Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts, with the eight-time MLB All-Star projected to Over 0.5 total RBI at +159 odds (risk $100 to win $159).

    The model is also calling for the Colorado Rockies to keep things closer than expected when they host the Chicago White Sox at Coors Field at 8:10 p.m. ET. SportsLine’s model is projecting a final score of 5.0-4.8 in Chicago’s favor in this game and is backing the Rockies (+1.5) on the run line at -147 odds (risk $147 to win $100).     Anthony Senzatela Under 3.5 total earned runs allowed (-122)

    Senzatela and the Rockies host the Chicago White Sox on Friday, in what projects to be a solid matchup for the veteran right-hander. Senzatela has been one of the most productive pitchers in Rockies’ franchise history during his nine seasons in Colorado. SportsLine gives this pick an edge of 0.7 based on the projection of 2.8 earned runs allowed for Senzatela and the consensus line of 3.5.

    Eugenio Suarez Over 0.5 total RBI (+152)

    Suarez and the Diamondbacks host the Kansas City Royals on July 4 in a late night game starting at 9:40 p.m. ET. The 33-year-old veteran is in the midst of another highly productive season, and enters Friday batting .250 with 27 home runs and 70 RBI. SportsLine give this pick an edge of 0.3 based on the projection of 0.8 RBI for Suarez and the consensus line of 0.5.

    Mookie Betts Over 0.5 RBI (+159)

    Betts and the Dodgers host the Houston Astros on Friday at 9:10 p.m. ET in a game that could be a potential World Series preview. Betts enters Friday batting .246 with 10 home runs and 43 RBI. SportsLine gives this pick an edge of 0.3 based on the projection of 0.8 RBI for Betts and the consensus line of 0.5.

    Colorado Rockies (+1.5) on the run line vs. Chicago White Sox

    The Rockies are set to host the White Sox in a weekend series between the teams with the worst two records in MLB this season. The White Sox were swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers in their mid-week series leading up to this game, while the Rockies are coming off a 7-6 win over the Houston Astros on Thursday. The SportsLine Projection Model is predicting a final score of 5.0-4.8 in Chicago’s favor, with the Rockies covering on the run line in 68% of computer simulations.
