    Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel plans to occupy all of Gaza, as his security cabinet convened to discuss the country’s war plans. For in-depth analysis and a deeper perspective, FRANCE 24’s Delano D’Souza welcomes former hostage negotiator Dr. Gershon Baskin, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Alliance for Two States, Middle East Director of the International Communities Organisation, Advisor to both Israeli, Palestinian and International Prime Ministers on the Middle East Peace Process. Dr Baskin asserts the war in Gaza “has to end now: Hamas has been defeated, it can no longer govern Gaza.” He says that Hamas has informed him, firsthand, that they’re “ready for a deal that will release all the Israeli hostages in 24 hours.” Dr. Baskin alleges that, in no uncertain terms “Netanyahu needs to continue the war for his own political survival”.
