Astronomer is using its newfound viral fame and poking some fun at itself by hiring celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow as its “temporary spokesperson” following the Coldplay kiss cam scandal and the resignations of its CEO and head of HR.

Paltrow made her debut in a video posted by Astronomer Friday night. “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer. Hi, I’m Gwyneth Paltrow. I’ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer,” the Oscar winner says in the video.

“Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days,” she continued. “And they wanted me to answer the most common ones. Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apace Airflow,” she continued, as text on screen read “OMG what the actual f.” “Unifying the experience of running data, ML and AI pipelines at scale. We’ve been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data automation. As for the other questions we’ve received — yes! There’s still room available at our Beyond Analytics event in September. We will now be returning to what we do best, delivering game-changing results for our customers. Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”

The video comes in the wake of the highly publicized kissing scandal at a Coldplay concert that rocked social media and the news last week. The incident resulted in the resignations of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and its head of HR Kristin Cabot after the two were allegedly spotted on the kiss cam together. The awkward moment went mega viral and was parodied on several late-night shows. Adding to the drama, in perhaps an intentional move by Astronomer, Paltrow is the ex-wife of Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.
