Deals on outdoor gadgets and accessories

    • Green handheld fan

      Madison Flager

    Jisulife

    Handheld mini fan

There’s no AC in the great outdoors, so bringing a mini portable fan with you can be the difference between sweating through your shirt and feeling comfortable and cool. This tiny, handheld fan boasts up to 19 hours of run time on a single charge, and can be used either handheld or desk mounted. It also features two different speeds for maximum cooling, and doubles as a flashlight or a battery charger in a pinch.

Image may contain: Cell Phone, Electronics, Mobile Phone, and Phone

    Hiearcool

    Waterproof phone pouch

Spending time in the water? This waterproof phone pouch means you can keep your phone on you while in the pool, river, or ocean. Since it floats, you don’t have to worry about losing it if your kayak goes upside down, and the detachable lanyard means you can keep it around your neck or attach it to a bag.

Image may contain: Bag, Handbag, Accessories, Purse, and Accessory

    Bagsmart

    Hanging toiletry bag

Sometimes, campground bathrooms and showers can be quite the trek, so you’ll want an easy way to bring all of your essentials with you to avoid forgetting anything and making a return trip. This hanging toiletry bag, with four separate compartments, is great for storing everything from your toothpaste and toothbrush to your shampoo and conditioner.

    Image may contain: Lighter

    Laffizz

    Pack of two waterproof lighters

If you’re not interested in going full Survivor and rubbing two sticks together to generate fire, I suggest keeping a few of these waterproof lighters on hand. They come in a pack of two, with one USB rechargeable flameless arc lighter, and one butane torch lighter. No matter what you need a flame for, these two can handle the task.

Image may contain: Umbrella, and Canopy

    Repel

    Windproof travel umbrella

Being surrounded by nature is one of the most beautiful experiences 90% of the time—the other 10% is when you get stuck in a flimsy tent in the pouring rain and you’re unable to go anywhere. Nab one of these windproof umbrellas for those moments. They’re small enough to fit into your backpack when not in use, but strong enough to keep you protected from the rain and wind when you have to brave the elements.

Whether you’re planning a camping trip to a wet or dry climate, having a quick-dry microfiber towel will come in handy for everything from drying off after a shower to sitting on the ground for a picnic. This lightweight, compact towel comes in 16 different colors and six sizes, and is ultra absorbent and soft.

    Deals on tech accessories

    A watch.

    i.Valux

    Apple Watch portable charger

If you want to keep track of your sleep schedule, step count, and more while out in the wild, this Apple watch charger will help keep your battery up. It’s not that easy to find outlets in the great outdoors, so having a portable charger like this one means you don’t have to worry about dwindling battery life. When full, the device can charge your watch up to one-and-a-half times, and it’s small enough to slip into any pocket of your backpack.

    • small white portable charger
    • iWalk portable charger plugged into an iPhone

      Meaghan Kenny

    iWalk

    Small portable charger

Like the portable Apple watch charger above, having a portable charger for your phone means you don’t have to worry about getting stuck without any way to contact the outside world. This guy is pocket-sized and compatible with a variety of different iPhones, Androids, and AirPods.

Image may contain: File Binder, File Folder, Electrical Device, and Solar Panels

You wont always have access to an outlet or somewhere to charge your necessities, so investing in a solar charger can help you keep your electronics juiced up no matter how far you are from civilization. This one by BigBlue features three USB ports, is portable and waterproof, and can be hooked onto your backpack for easy storage.

Image may contain: Electronics, Phone, and Mobile Phone

Keeping in touch when out of range for cell service can be difficult, but these two-way walkies make it easy to keep track of everyone in your group no matter where you are. Available as a two-pack, three-pack, and four-pack, these radios are long-range and small enough to comfortably fit in your hand.

While this charger will need to be plugged in to an outlet at some point to power up, a single charge on it can power up to three-and-a-half charges on your phone, depending on your device model. It’s super small and lightweight, meaning it’s perfect for sliding into any bag, and thanks to the USB and USB-C ports, it can charge just about anything you throw at it.

    Health and safety deals

    Thermacell

    Rechargeable mosquito repeller

Nothing dampens an adventure in the great outdoors quite like having to swat away mosquitos. This rechargeable mosquito repeller is perfect for keeping those pesky bugs away while you sit around the campfire and indulge in some s’mores. Unlike traditional mosquito repellant, this little gadget does all the work for you, without having to spray anything on your skin.

Image may contain: First Aid, and Bandage

It’s always a good idea to keep a first aid kit on hand, especially when you’re alone in the wilderness. This compact, easy-to-carry kit has everything you need to tend to a simple injury, including an ice pack, bandages, medical tape, and tweezers.

    Water filtration deals

    Lifestraw

    Personal water filter

This fan-favorite water filter from LifeStraw was a top-selling product among our readers last Prime Day, and it’s on sale this time around, too. The travel essential is small enough to fit in your backpack or fanny pack, and provides peace of mind like no other.

lifestraw peak series water filter blue

    Lifestraw

    Peak Series personal water filter

Having consistent access to safe drinking water on the go keeps you hydrated and able to enjoy outdoor activities for as long as possible. This compact personal device can filter up to 1,000 gallons of water, and has an unlimited shelf life, so you don’t have to worry about it expiring years down the line if you use it infrequently.

    Camping cookware deals

    Solo Stove

    Bonfire 2.0 smokeless firepit

Gather around this smokeless firepit and get your marshmallows nice and toasty. This handy tool does double duty: it can keep you warm during cooler seasons, and is a great cookstove for those who want to whip up a meal al fresco. It’s also fairly lightweight, portable, and will last you for many camping trips to come.

    Coleman

    316 Series wheeled hard cooler

While this heavy-duty cooler might not be a fit for a backpacking trip or a kayaking excursion to a secluded island, it’s the perfect item for car campers (like me) who need somewhere to store their perishables for a day or two. According to the brand, it can keep ice frozen for up to five days, and has handy wheels for moving around the campsite. Plus, it makes an excellent seat in a pinch, whether you’re lacing up your hiking boots or sipping some morning coffee.

Image may contain: Electronics, Cookware, Pot, and Camera Lens

    Alocs

    Camping cookware set

Veteran campers know that space is gold, and this nesting cookware set is perfect for taking with you anywhere. The three pots, one pan, and two lids all fit within each other, creating a lightweight and portable set that you’ll be able to easily tote to your campsite. The heat-resistant folding handles avoid taking up extra space, and the mesh carrying bag makes for simple storing and transportation.

Deals on camping bags and backpacks

    Apollo Walker

    Picnic backpack bag

Best for car camping, this adorable picnic backpack weighs about 4.5 pounds, so it’s easy to lug to and from the campsite. It comes with enough utensils for either two or four people, and is great for stashing everything you need to bring to the picnic table or on a short, easy hike. It comes with two sets of knives, forks, spoons, plates, napkins, and wine glasses, as well as a cheese knife, a bottle opener, salt and pepper shakers, a chopping board, and a picnic blanket.

Image may contain: Backpack, and Bag

    Camelbak

    Lobo 9 hydration backpack

Thanks to the Air Support Back construction, the CamelBak Lobo 9 hydration backpack is constructed with breathable and lightweight materials that help you go further, longer. The optional stability belt keeps your pack in place while you sip up to 70 ounces of liquid from the built-in pouch.

Deals on camping clothes and shoes

    model wearing black leggings

    Colorfulkoala

    High-waisted leggings with pockets

A favorite of mine, these ultra-soft leggings are great for outdoor adventures thanks to their stretchy, buttery-soft fabric. (No matter the temperature, it’s best to wear full-length pants like these when in nature to avoid picking up ticks.) Whether you’re hiking up a mountain, lounging about the campsite, or fetching some firewood, they do a spectacular job of keeping you comfortable all day long. Plus, they come in a variety of colors and have pockets on the side for storing your phone, keys, and earbuds.

Baleaf quick dry hiking pants in black

Serious hikers know that the right gear can make or break your experience. While just about any long, comfortable pants will do the trick in a pinch, these unique hiking pants can turn your trip up a notch. The lightweight, breathable, water-resistant fabric makes it easy to walk through all different biomes while staying comfortable, and the UV protection (UPF 50+) and adjustable ankle cords (designed to keep bugs out) are the cherry on top.

Image may contain: Clothing, Footwear, Shoe, Sneaker, and Running Shoe

Merrell Women’s Moab 3 Hiking Boot

A proper pair of hiking boots is ideal for navigating difficult terrain, and this pair from Merrell can mean the difference between a fun trip with friends and a trip to the ER after slipping on the trail. The durable, waterproof design features high-traction rubber soles to provide good grip across a variety of terrains and weather conditions. The protected toe cap and removable, contoured insoles offer ultimate comfort.

    Editor Obsession Yak Trax

    Yaktrax

    Pro traction cleats

Big hikers know that your footwear is the most important thing to get right before a big trip. These traction cleats easily slip over your regular hiking boots or sneakers to ensure that you have better traction when walking through the ice or snow. No slips or falls here!

    Deals on camping chairs

Image may contain: Furniture, and Hammock

    Wise Owl Outfitters

    Camping hammock

Pop this hammock between two trees and you’ll have the comfiest seat in the house. The comfortable nylon is perfect for lounging or sleeping, and can be easily attached to two trees with the nine-foot-long straps and carabiners it comes with. Only some of the colors are on sale for Prime Day, so choose wisely.

Image may contain: Furniture, Chair, and Canvas

    Timber Ridge

    Lightweight outdoor camping chair

What sets this camping chair apart from all of its competitors? Plenty. The oversized design can support up to 400 pounds, and it features a cupholder and a side table, which is something you’ll appreciate after one too many meals being forced to hold your plate in your lap.

Deals on sleeping bags and blankets

teton sports celsius sleeping bag black

    Teton

    Celsius sleeping bag

Available in black, green, and gray colorways, the Teton Sports Celsius sleeping bag will protect you in temperatures as low as zero degrees. If you need some additional warmth, the bag is designed with a mummy-style hood that you can cinch around your dome.

    EverSnug

    Premium travel blanket

From travel to tent, this packable, plush blanket is just the thing to keep you warm on cool nights around the firepit. While this blanket is technically for airplanes, it functions just as well in the great outdoors, thanks to the cozy design and accompanying carrying case that makes it easy to store (and even use as a pillow if desired).

    Deals on camping tents

    marmot crane creek tent green

    Marmot

    Crane Creek camping tent

This basic tent comes in two- and four-person sizes, and is as easy to pack as it is to set up and break down. At 5.3 pounds, the two-person tent is ideal for car camping trips, but can be a bit heavy to lug around while backpacking. Reviewers suggest splitting it up between two or more people.

Image may contain: Tent, Camping, Leisure Activities, Mountain Tent, Nature, and Outdoors

Quick setup, a rainfly, and an included carry bag make this tent an easy yes when shopping. It’s available in two-, four- and six-person sizes, and features breathable mesh windows to promote air ventilation and sturdy rip-stop fabric to brave the elements.
