    Nearly 450,000 Afghans have returned from Iran since June 1, following Tehran’s order for undocumented migrants to leave by July 6. Iran’s directive could affect up to four million of the six million Afghans in the country. Many returnees reported pressure from authorities, arrests, or deportation, often losing scarce resources in the process.
